Check out a learning suite for programming tasks and projects. Work with simulations of elements and environments for real-world VEX®, LEGO®, and TETRIX® robots and robotic systems. Program virtual and physical machines according to the current tasks.
Robot Virtual Worlds is a high-end simulation environment that enables students, without robots, to learn programming.
RVW simulates popular real world VEX®, LEGO®, and TETRIX® robots in 3D environments while using the same language, ROBOTC, to program both virtual and physical robots. The RVW environment is perfect for home, classroom, and competition environments.
The VEX Cortex is a fully programmable device, and is what enables you to incorporate motors, sensors, an LCD screen, and remote control signals all in one robot. Inside of the Cortex, there are two separate processors; a user processor handles all of the ROBOTC programming instructions, and a master processor controls lower-level operations, like motor control and VEXnet communication.
Your options will vary depending on which virtual world you are using, but most menus provide you with the following options: choice of robot, documents that will explain challenges and robots, a challenge, level, or starting point for your robot to run its program and a way to start the activity.
